Kishori Turner, a 26-year-old senior marketing strategist from Gaithersburg, and her cousin, Karishma Cordero, a 22-year-old student from Austin, Texas, are among the new season’s 13 teams to compete in a race around the Americas for $1 million, the pair announced in a shared post on Instagram on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
The full Season 36 cast was announced on Entertainment Weekly.
“Surprise!” reads the post. “We’ve been holding in this secret for over a year now and we’re SO excited to finally share the news that we are on Season 36 of @theamazingrace.”
“We had the adventure of a lifetime getting to race around the world together and can’t wait for you to watch our experience!”
The season premiere kicks off in Puerto Vallarta and includes stops in Colombia, Argentina, Dominican Republic, and Barbados.
You can watch it on CBS and Paramount Plus starting Wednesday, March 13 at 9:30 p.m.
